JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) has arrested three networks of Methamphetamine suppliers to Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta.
From the results of the arrest of 7 suspects, it is known that they consist of different networks. And evidence of narcotics types of methamphetamine that were successfully confiscated were 2 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 1 kilogram of marijuana from three networks.
"There are three networks and one expedition. The first network involves smuggling drugs using thick iron pipes from Sumatra to Jakarta", said the Head of Jakarta BNNP Commissioner Monang Sidabuke to VOI, Tuesday, May 31.
The suspect smuggled the methamphetamine using a thick iron pipe so that X-Ray rays and sniffer dogs could not detect it.
"This includes the international network, the Golden Triangle if you look at the packaging. Those sent via Sumatra are here", he said.
Commissioner Monang explained that when compared to last year the network numbers remained the same. The evidence circulated from this network is quite high. However, the evidence obtained by the BNNP was only 2 kg (Methamphetamine), while from the suspect's statement the amount was quite large.
