FP3 MotoGP Italy: Francesco Bagnaia Succeeds, Marc Marquez Suffers Disaster
JAKARTA - Lenovo's Ducati rider, Francesco Bagnaia, became the fastest in the third free practice session (FP3) of the Italian MotoGP at the Mugello Circuit, Saturday, May 28. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez had a disaster.
Bagnaia became the fastest in this session with a time of 1 minute 45.393 seconds. He was +0.276 seconds ahead of Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro.
While the third position was surprisingly filled by Luca Marini. The VR46 Racing racer is 0.369 seconds adrift of Bagnaia.
Unsatisfactory results were achieved by Yamaha MotoGP racer, Fabio Quartararo. He placed 10th with a lap time of 1 minute 46,032 seconds, +0.639 adrift of Bagnaia.

While Marc Marquez recorded a time of 1 minute 46,577 seconds. He slumped to 21st in the list of time combinations in free practice.
This result makes Marc Marquez have to start from the first qualification (Q1).
Meanwhile in the Moto3 class, Mario Aji also failed to qualify directly for Q2. He was not able to sharpen his record time in FP3.
