Sony Brings Game Titles To Film, God Of War And Gran Turismo Are In Development
JAKARTA - In presentation at the Investor Briefing event, Sony continues to strive to develop its video games into television shows or films.
According to Variety, Sony has now announced that it will be making a show based on the title Horizon Zero Dawn with Netflix. Sony is also working on a Gran Turismo film with Neill Blomkamp directing, Deadline reports. However, the project has yet to find a distributor for it.

When viewed from Sony's efforts to continue to introduce its film and television products, this indicates that Sony is committed to expanding its PlayStation products beyond just video games.
PlayStation Productions currently has several other projects in the works, among which God of War has landed on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service. There are also other titles, namely:
- Twisted Metal Series at Peacock
- Adaptation of The Last of Us for HBO
- Ghost of Tsushima Movie
- Metal Gear Solid
Sony will also continue to expand its franchise, such as the film "Uncharted" which has just been released in theaters with Tom Holland in the role.
In "Last of Us" coming to HBO, Pedro Pascal will play Joel, while Bella Ramsey will play Ellie.
For Ghost of Tsushima, this film will be directed by one of the people behind the John Wick film, namely Chad Stahelski.
