Seven Days Before His Death, Fahmi Idris Invited His Daughter, Fahira Idris To Have Lunch
JAKARTA - RI Regional Representative Council (DPD) member Fahira Idris said seven days before the death of her father, the late Fahmi Idris, had invited her to have lunch together.
"This photo was taken exactly seven days ago, when my father invited my sister and I to have lunch together at one of his favorite restaurants," Fahira Idris tweeted through her Twitter account which was monitored in Jakarta, Sunday, May 22.
Prof. Fahmi Idris, who had served as the 22nd Indonesian Minister of Industry in the era of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), died at 10.00 western Indonesia time, in the ICU of Medistra Hospital, Jakarta. The former 20th Indonesian Minister of Manpower and Transmigration in the era of President BJ Habibie died at the age of 79 years.
In the photo upload, Fahira Idris is seen standing with Prof. Fahmi Idris, who is wearing a dark-colored shirt and cream-colored trousers.

The family also apologized if during the lifetime of Prof. Fahmi Idris never made a mistake and made a mistake.
"Please forgive Father Fahmi Idris if during his life he has made mistakes," tweeted Fahira.
Fahmi Idris leaves a wife named Yenni Fatmawati and two children, namely Fahira Idris and Fahrina Fahmi Idris. Fahmi was elected as a member of the DPR-GR representing students and the chairman of the Golkar faction in the MPR RI.
He is known to have also served on the Advisory Board of Ormas and LBH Bang Japar (Awakening of Champions and Lawyers) since February 2017.
