4.366 Livestock Examined In Depok, City Government Says Free Of PMK Disease
DEPOK - The Department of Food Security, Agriculture and Fisheries (DKP3) of Depok City has yet to find any livestock affected by mouth and nail disease (PMK) which is currently spreading in several areas.
"As of May 20, 2022, we have examined as many as 4.366 livestock. In conclusion, there were no indications of exotic diseases or diseases of the mouth and nails," said Head of DKP3 Depok City, Widyati Riyandani in a statement, Saturday, May 21.
She said the inspection was carried out in 103 farms. With a total of 4.366 livestock examined.
"Inspections were carried out on 2.960 cows, 720 goats, 661 sheep, and 25 buffalo," she said, as reported by Antara.
As for the results of the examination, based on the Antara report, Widyati detailed, as many as 4.352 tails were declared healthy. While 14 tails experienced mild symptoms such as wounds, diarrhea, mild respiratory problems and no appetite.

Meanwhile, the number of farms inspected per sub-district were Beji in three places, Bojongsari in 11 places, Cilodong in seven places, Cimanggis in two places, Cipayung in 13 places.
Then, Pancoran Mas has eight places, Sawangan has 13 places, Sukmajaya has four places, Tapos has 35 places, Cinere has five places, and Limo has two places.
