Boyolali Recorded Zero COVID-19 Cases In The Last Month
BOYOLALI - Active cases of COVID-19 in Boyolali Regency for about a month have zero cases. The local Health Office reported that there were no confirmed residents for the past month.
"Boyolali has zero active cases of COVID-19 from April 19 to May 18, 2022, so there are no positive patients either hospitalized or self-isolating", said the Head of the Boyolali District Health Office, Puji Astuti in Boyolali, Thursday.
"We note that no positive COVID-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, centralized isolation, and self-isolation in Boyolali. Thank God, Boyolali has zero cases", said Puji.
So, Puji said, the accumulated cases of COVID-19 in Boyolali remained at 28,969 cases, residents who recovered from exposure were 27,510 cases or 95 percent of the total cases and the death rate due to COVID-19 was 1,459 cases or 5 percent.
"Boyolali enters the Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) level 1 or the yellow color zone. The map of the spread of COVID-19 cases in Boyolali is in the green zone or no cases have been detected", he said.

Meanwhile, he said, vaccination activities in Boyolali were still being carried out and the coverage for the first dose reached 862,267 targets, or 103.17 percent of the total target of 835,772 targets. The second dose is around 95 percent and the third dose or booster vaccine reaches 23.52 percent.
In vaccination for children aged 6-11 years, the first dose reached 100,537 targets or 105 percent of the total target of 95,713 targets and the second dose was 101 percent.
"We are still providing vaccinations for both health facilities at the Health Office as well as 26 Puskesmas (health center) and clinics in Boyolali. People who want to vaccinate can come to the nearest health center or health facility to be injected with the vaccine", she concluded.
