SMRC Survey: Thanks To Allowing Homecoming, Community Satisfaction With Jokowi Increases To 75 Percent
JAKARTA - The survey institute Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) released a poll to identify the level of public satisfaction with President Joko Widodo after Eid 1443 H.
SMRC Executive Director Abbas said that in the past month, people's satisfaction with Jokowi's current performance was 76.7 percent. Meanwhile, 20.9 percent said they were less or not satisfied at all, and 2.4 percent did not answer.
Abbas said this figure increased 16 percent from the survey period a month earlier.
"In the past month, satisfaction with President Jokowi's performance rose from 65.5 percent in the 12-15 April 2022 survey to 76.7 percent in the last survey 10-12 May 2022", Abbas said in a written survey presentation, Wednesday, May 18.
Abbas continued, that one of the reasons for the increase in satisfaction with Jokowi's performance is the government's policy of allowing people to go home for Eid this year and also the current handling of COVID-19.
