A Young Man Was Beaten During Night Guarding, Allegedly A Victim Of Wrong Target
MANADO - The Manado Police Resmob Joint Team together with the Mapanget Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested nine suspected perpetrators of the persecution together on the Buha road section, Manado, North Sulawesi.
"The nine perpetrators have been secured by a joint team. They were picked up by officers while they were at their respective homes," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Regional Police Grand Commissioner Pol Jules Abraham Abast, in Manado, Sunday 15 May.
Abast said that the perpetrators abused victim Valen because it was suspected that the target was misunderstood by assuming that the victim and friend were a gang of 'dogers' or dog thieves.
"While conducting a security and security patrol around their neighborhood, the perpetrators saw the victim along with his friend who was going to work at Sam Ratulangi Airport passing by on a motorbike. It was considered a doger gang, the perpetrators spontaneously chased and found the victim and were immediately attacked by the perpetrators," said Abast, as quoted by Antara.
The helpless victim finally just resigned himself to receiving a beating from the perpetrators.
"Due to the beating of the perpetrators, the victim must receive medical treatment," he said.
Currently, the nine perpetrators with the initials LO, JW, MM, MB, AS, TK, FR, DM, and CM have been handed over to the Mapanget Police Investigators for further investigation.
