Abandoned By Homecoming, Residents' Cars Are Submerged In Floods Due To High Rainfall Last Night

TANGERANG - Two cars were submerged in water and their engine was damaged during a flood on Betet 1 street, Cibodas, Tangerang City.

One of the residents, Rizan Faisa, said that the flood occurred due to high rainfall from 23.00 western Indonesia time to 00.30 western Indonesia time. At that time, two cars were parked in a vacant lot near his house.

"Yes, that's right, there are two cool cars (flooded)," said Rizan when meeting at the location, Wednesday, May 11, at 01.21 western Indonesia time.

Rizan said that one of the owners of the parked car was not at home. He is still in his hometown.

“There is no other owner, one has (the owner) but just got home from work. So when I got home the car was cool," he said.

Residents who knew there were two cars that were submerged in the flood, immediately flocked to help evacuate the four-wheeled vehicle.

“(Because) the engine broke down (or) died. We encourage residents to go to areas that are not flooded," he concluded.
