Already 256,540 Registered Cars Leave The City Of Surabaya
JAKARTA - The Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division (JTTRD) recorded that cumulatively since the 2022 homecoming flow was implemented, as many as 256,540 vehicles had left the city of Surabaya through the Warugunung Toll Gate (GT) and the Kejapanan Utama GT.
Marketing and Communication Department Head Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division, Tody Satria in a press release in Surabaya, Thursday, April 28, said that the number was up 18.3 percent from normal traffic of 216,850 vehicles.
In detail, the number of vehicles leaving the city of Surabaya via GT Warugunung today was recorded at 104,551 vehicles, up 18.3 percent from the normal traffic of 88,936 vehicles.
Meanwhile, vehicles entering the city of Surabaya via the same GT were recorded at 115,288 vehicles or up 9 percent from normal traffic of 105,723 vehicles.
Tody said, for vehicles leaving Surabaya via GT Kejapanan Utama it was recorded at 151,989 vehicles, up 18.3 percent from normal traffic of 128,454 vehicles.
Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Surabaya via the same GT were recorded at 148,558 vehicles, up 9.7 percent from the normal traffic of 135,418 vehicles, quoted from Antara.
JTTRD appealed to Transjawa toll road users to prepare themselves before entering the journey on the toll road.
Previously, JTTRD predicted that the peak flow of homecoming via the toll road from East Java would occur on April 29, 2022 or D-3 Lebaran, while the reverse flow was predicted as many as 282,500 vehicles would return to Surabaya, with the peak of backflow on May 8, 2022 or D+5 Lebaran.
