The Indonesian Doubles Leo/Daniel And Pramudya/Yeremia Ran Aground In The First Round Of The 2022 Korea Masters
JAKARTA - Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin had to stop in the first round of the 2022 Korea Masters. Leo/Daniel's move in the Super 300 tournament was crushed by Liu Yuchen/Ou Xuan Yi.
The pair's duel took place at Gwangju Yeonju Stadium on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 14. The Indonesian pair lost in three sets 21-13, 19-21, 20-22 in the duration of the match for 63 minutes.
The defeat of the 2019 junior world champion pair left the remaining Indonesian representatives in the men's doubles pair Bagas Maulana / Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.
Bagas/Fikri previously penetrated the second round after defeating Kim Jaehwan/Young Hyuk Kim.
Apart from Leo/Daniel, the men's doubles of Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Rambitan were also eliminated in the first round. Pramudya/Yeremia had to go home early after losing to Malaysian representatives Tan Kian Meng/Tan Wee Kiong.

Previously, one mixed doubles representative also stopped in the first round on Tuesday. The pair were Adnan Maulana/Mychelle Crhystine Bandoso who were beaten by the host's representative Jung Jae Wook/Yeon Woo Lee.
Just like men's doubles, mixed doubles also leaves one representative in the second round. They are the pair Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari who escaped after overthrowing Adham Hatem Elgamal/Doha Hany.
The second-round match will take place on Thursday, April 15 tomorrow. Rinov/Pitha will face Ou Xuan Yi/Huang Yaqiong, while Bagas/Fikri will face Ren Xiang Yu/Tan Qiang.
