Pertamina Guarantees Availability Of Fuel Supply In West Java Ahead Of Eid Al-Fitr
JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java (JBB) continues to make various efforts to maintain the community's energy availability ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1443 H.
In addition to ensuring fuel and LPG stocks are in a very safe position, Executive General Manager of Pertamina West Java Region, Waljiyanto, said that during the month of Ramadan 1443 H Pertamina provided additional services by preparing modular, pocket gas stations and fuel delivery motorists during the Ramadan Eid al-Fitr Task Force this time.
"Pertamina will continue to carry out the mandate of the Government to distribute Energy so that it is always safe and on target, especially at this time of increasing economic growth, we have made various adjustments to ensure that the needs of BBM and LPG are properly met for all people in DKI Jakarta, Banten, and West Java", said Waljiyanto in a statement to the media, quoted on Tuesday, April 12.
He emphasized that although the geopolitical turmoil between Russia and Ukraine is still going on and world oil prices have risen sharply to date, the price of biodiesel and Pertalite, which dominates the market share of 84 percent in Indonesia, remains the same.
"Likewise, the 3 kg LPG price has not increased", he added.
Meanwhile, Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional, Eko Kristiawan, also conveyed that the RAFI Task Force Team formed by Pertamina will continue to monitor energy distribution so that it runs smoothly to meet the needs of people in the West Java region.
"After the Pertamax price adjustment last April 1, Pertamina immediately made efforts to normalize and build stock at gas stations, especially for Pertalite and Biosolar products. For this reason, we ensure the fuel stock in the western part of Java is in a safe condition and can meet the needs of the community during this month of Ramadan as well as LPG", said Eko.
For the West Java region, the supply of fuel and LPG in the Jabodetabek area is channeled from the Jakarta Integrated Terminal. For the Banten area, it is at the Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal and the Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal.
As for the West Java area, they are at the Ujung Berung Fuel Terminal, Cikampek Fuel Terminal, Padalarang Fuel Terminal, Tasikmalaya Fuel Terminal, Balongan Integrated Terminal, and Cirebon LPG Facilities.

He also provides additional fuel services on potential routes including toll roads, tourist routes, and main traffic lanes, in the form of Standby Gas Stations, Standby LPG Agents & Outlets, Pertamina Siaga Kiosk, Motorists, Stand-by Tank Cars, and health facilities.
Eko added that Pertamina also alerted 1550 gas stations, 423 Pertashops, 1496 PSO LPG agents, and more than 38 thousand PSO LPG bases. The distribution agency remains on standby to operate to make it easier for the public to get fuel and LPG.
Pertamina JBB Stock Resilience as of April 11 for Gasoil 27 days. For Gasoline the stock lasts for more than 16 days, Biosolar Stock for 25 days, and Pertalite for 10 days.
"With public consumption of 10 percent of the existing stock, our stock resilience is still capable of facing the surge in public consumption", concluded Eko.
