122 Villages In Rejang Lebong Will Receive BKK, Each Will Get IDR 100 Million
BENGKULU - A total of 122 villages spread across 14 sub-districts in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, in the near future will receive the Special Financial Assistance (BKK) program sourced from the local Regional Budget (APBD) with an amount of IDR 100 million per village.
Assistant I for Governance, Law and Welfare of the Rejang Regency Government Lebong Pranoto Majid in Rejang Lebong, Monday, said the BKK program was a strategic program in the economic sector in accordance with the vision and mission of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Rejang Lebong in the 2020 simultaneous regional election campaign.
"The BKK program will be distributed through 122 villages, while for the other 34 sub-districts we will temporarily postpone it. Each village will receive assistance of IDR 100 million," he said as quoted by Antara, Monday, April 11.
He explained that the previous budget for the BKK program was IDR 15.6 billion for 156 villages and sub-districts spread over 15 sub-districts, but for another sub-district, namely Curup Sub-district, all the villages have become sub-districts so they have not been able to receive the distribution.

According to him, it has not been done because the kelurahan is part of the regency and has no autonomy. In addition, the management of the BKK is different from that in the village that is included in the APBDes, while the SKPD sub-district is the sub-district head.
"There is no regulation for this sub-district BKK, so it doesn't overlap with the program from the district," he explained.
The preparation of the BKK budget for 122 villages, he said, already had a legal umbrella in the form of Rejang Lebong Regent Regulation No. 4/2022, concerning Guidelines for the Management and Distribution of Special Financial Aid to the Rejang Lebong Regency Village Government.
According to him, the BKK budget is focused on programs that are not consumptive or consumable but are expected to develop, especially in the economic sector that can provide direct benefits to the beneficiary community.
"We estimate the disbursement of this BKK after Eid al-Fitr later, at this time we will still socialize Perbup number 4 of 2022 to each village that will receive it," said Pranoto Majid.
