As A Result Of The April 11 Student Demonstration, PT KAI Diverts The Long-distance Train Stop From Gambir Station To Jatinegara Station
JAKARTA - Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Operation Area 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa said PT KAI Operation Area 1 Jakarta made arrangements for a special operation pattern for the departure of long-distance trains (KAJJ) from Gambir Station on Monday, April 11.
This is in anticipation of avoiding delays for long-distance train service users (KAJJ) to Gambir Station due to the diversion of traffic flow on a number of highways to Gambir Station.
During normal times, trains departing from Gambir Station do not stop at Jatinegara Station, but specifically on Monday, April 11, 2022, there are 7 trains departing from around 09.00 to 16.00 western Indonesia time which will stop at Jatinegara Station to serve up and down passengers.
"This is done to make it easier for prospective train passengers so they are not affected by traffic jams when they are going to Gambir Station and experience delays," said Eva, Monday, April 11, morning.
