Kakorlantas Inspector General Firman: Execute With Responsibility, Be Happy But Serious

JAKARTA - The Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police, Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi asked that securing the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow must be carried out seriously and happily.

"Do it with a full sense of responsibility, happy but serious," said Firman in a written statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, April 7.

According to Firman, such an attitude will result in a synergistic perception and pattern of action. Both inter-polda and with other agencies.

"The way of acting that will be shared must be implemented in the field taking into account the dynamically developing situation and conditions," he said.

Firman asked his staff to be able to answer the problems that had been scripted so that the implementation went well.

This was conveyed by Firman when finalizing preparations for securing the 2022 Eid homecoming through the "Tactical Floor Game" (TFG) Simulation at the NTMC Police Building.

Firman explained that the TFG simulation discussed a number of important issues related to securing the 2022 Lebaran homecoming. Starting from the readiness of officers, technical staff, to equalizing perceptions in the field.

"This activity aims to determine the extent of readiness of personnel and other supporting facilities, as well as similarities in perceptions and patterns of action between regional police," said Firman.

Firman emphasized that he would prioritize synergy and collaboration. He hopes that the security for the 2022 Eid homecoming will run optimally.

"No less important is to build partnerships and synergies with other stakeholders," he hoped.

Firman invites the public to get booster vaccines so that the 2022 Eid homecoming runs smoothly. According to President Joko Widodo's directive, the conditions for going home are no restrictions, but the public must have received complete vaccinations with doses of 1, 2, and boosters.

"Mr. President Joko Widodo has conveyed that people are allowed to leave for homecoming on the condition that they are expected to have been vaccinated," he emphasized.

Firman hopes for public awareness to vaccinate before going home for Eid 2022. His party will prepare a vaccination service post for those who have not vaccinated.
