Sad News From Central Bangka, 2 People Died Due To COVID-19 And The Total Becomes 200 Patients
CENTRAL BANGKA - COVID-19 patients who have died in Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province have increased to 200 people from the previously recorded 198 patients.
The head of the Central Bangka Health Office, Dr. Anas Maarif in Koba, Thursday, April 7, said that two additional patients had died in the last few days.
"Today there are also five active patients who have been declared cured, there are also four new cases", he said as quoted by Antara.
Anas explained that so far 49 patients have tested positive for the new Coronavirus. "Previously there were as many as 65 positive patients, today it has decreased to 49 people", he said.

The local government is currently concentrating on handling cases of the new Coronavirus by continuing to vaccinate, socialize health protocols, and prepare all adequate medical equipment.
The Health Office urges residents not to be complacent and to continue to be careful with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, especially the Omicron variant.
Based on the data on the distribution of cases, he said, four sub-districts were declared vulnerable, namely Pangkalanbaru, Namang, Koba, and Simpangkatis, with a higher case finding rate.
The tabulated data also records that the age of vulnerable citizens to be exposed to the new Coronavirus is 55 to 69 years.
