Densus 88 Arrest 5 Suspected NII Network Terrorists In Tangsel
JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror arrested 5 terrorism suspects in the South Tangerang area. They are a network of the Islamic State of Indonesia (NII).
"The arrests were for 5 terrorist suspects who are members of the NII terrorist network," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramdhan, to reporters, Wednesday, April 6.
These terrorists were arrested on Sunday, April 3. Their arrest is an extension of the arrest of 16 terrorists in West Sumatra (Sumbar).
For now, continued Ramadhan, the Densus 88 Anti-terror investigators are still exploring information to reveal the role of the terrorist suspects.
"Furthermore, at this time, investigations and deepening of the roles and involvement of the suspects will be carried out. We will inform you later," he said.

Although the location of the arrests was in West Sumatra, dozens of terrorist suspects were arrested in different areas.
For example, 12 of them were arrested in Dharmasraya Regency. Then the rest in Tanah Datar Regency.
Police owl troops also only needed a day to apprehend these dozen terrorists. They were arrested on March 25.
