Sahroni Explains Formula E Ticket Prices: The Cheapest Is IDR 350 Thousand, The Most Expensive Is Millions

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Formula E Executive Committee, Ahmad Sahroni, announced the ticket prices for Formula E which will be held in the Ancol area, North Jakarta. Sahroni said the cheapest tickets were opened from IDR 350 thousand and the most expensive were millions of rupiah.

"The price range for Formula E-tickets is IDR 350,000 to millions of rupiah", said Sahroni in his statement, Monday, April 4.

Sahroni revealed that ticket sales for the electric car racing event have not yet been opened. Ticket sales, he said, will start in May or a month before Formula E is held on June 4, 2022.

Then, Sahroni also promised that the organizers would provide various entertainment events that could be enjoyed by the audience and visitors, such as music concerts.

“The event will also be very lively, where we will hold a music concert filled with famous musicians and music groups. We will have three stages that will show entertainment from morning to night", said Sahroni.

In addition, Sahroni also said that the Formula E event would facilitate MSME players to trade. Later, they will not only be allowed to do business but also be given training on good service.

"In this event later, we will involve MSMEs, where they are not only allowed to do business or sell but also the opportunity to learn. These MSMEs will be trained to have international-class service standards", he explained.

As is known, the Formula E circuit itself is currently still under construction and almost completed. Construction of the circuit began on February 3, 2022, and is targeted for completion in early April.

The shape of the Formula E track is said to be similar to a lumping horse. Then, the location of the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit has 18 bends, 600 meters of straight track, clockwise direction, and 2.4 kilometers of track length.

After the circuit is completed, PT Jakpro as the BUMD organizer will start the installation of stands, paddock, and other facilities until early May 2022. Furthermore, the circuit will be reviewed and tested by FEO as the license holder of Formula E. Finally, Formula E will be held in Ancol on June 4, 2022.
