Producer Of Ultra Milk And Teh Kotak Owned By Conglomerate Sabana Prawirawidjaja Raise Sales Of IDR 6.61 Trillion And Profit Of IDR 1.27 Trillion In 2021
JAKARTA - The producer of Ultra milk and Teh Kotak owned by conglomerate Sabana Prawirawidjaja, PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) posted a net profit of IDR 1.27 trillion throughout 2021. This profit grew by 16.51 percent compared to 2020 which amounted to IDR 1.09 trillion.
In Ultrajaya's financial report, quoted Monday, April 4, the company's profit growth was almost entirely contributed by domestic sales. During 2021, Ultrajaya recorded domestic sales in the beverage segment of IDR 7.15 trillion or grew 10.85 percent from IDR 6.45 trillion.
Followed by the food segment, which contributed IDR 116.18 billion. Meanwhile, in the export segment, sales of beverages and food were relatively the same at IDR 13.14 billion and 13.96 billion, respectively.
Meanwhile, after being deducted by the Value Added Tax (VAT) of IDR 660.82 billion and the performance bonus of IDR 18.74 billion, the total net sales from ULTJ during 2021 amounted to IDR 6.61 trillion, an increase of 10.91 percent from IDR 5.96 trillion in 2020.
The cost of goods sold was recorded at IDR 4.24 trillion, an increase of 13.67 percent from IDR 3.73 trillion. Thus, the gross profit obtained by ULTJ is IDR 2.37 trillion.
Meanwhile, total assets as of December 2021 were worth IDR 7.4 trillion, consisting of IDR 4.84 trillion of current assets and IDR 2.56 trillion of non-current assets. ULTJ's total assets decreased by 15.43 percent.
