JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Anwar Abbas asked ministers and the country's political elite to stop promoting a three-term presidential discourse. extension of the presidential term.
"It is hoped that ministers and political figures in this country will stop maneuvering and fabricating and gathering support for Pak Jokowi to be extended," Anwar said in Jakarta, Friday, April 1.

"Please, ministers and political figures in this country so that they no longer carry out power-raising activities that are contrary to the spirit of reform. And what is already in our basic law, namely the 1945 Constitution," said Anwar Abbas.
