COVID-19 Update As Of March 31: 3.332 New Cases, 106,927 Active Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 133.393 specimens were examined with the result that there were 3.332 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6.012.818 and active cases have fallen by 4.628 to 106.927 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Thursday, March 31.
Today's recovered cases increased by 7.871 people, bringing the total to 5.750.802 people recovered. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 89 cases and a total of 155.089 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 729 cases and a total of 1.237.736 cases. Followed by West Java with 677 new cases bringing the total to 1.098.776 cases. Central Java with 461 new cases with a total of 623.861 cases. East Java with 255 new cases and a total of 573.227 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 1.690 recovered cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with an increase of 1.316 recovered cases, DI Yogyakarta with an additional 828 recovered cases, and East Nusa Tenggara with an additional 632 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 91.960.955.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 5.51 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 6.111 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
So far, 196.534.266 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 159.325.260 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 22.215.377. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
