Blacklisted Threat Companies In The US, Kaspersky Responds
JAKARTA - Tuesday, March 29, the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), which is part of the UK's National Cyber Security Center, warned users of Russian technology products not to use it again.
Last week, the United States also added Kaspersky Lab to its list of communications equipment and service providers deemed a threat to US national security.
While not warning specifically against Kaspersky Lab, the NCSC advises that its users may need to change to another antivirus provider, if Kaspersky Lab itself is penalized.

Regarding the NCSC UK's public statement on the use of Russian and Kaspersky technology, Kaspersky responded that the decision made by the NCSC was based on political reasons, not technical.
"We are open to addressing any concerns that customers and regulators may have regarding our operations and products in a completely transparent, open, and objective manner, including through the Kaspersky Transparency Center operating in Europe," Kaspersky wrote in a statement received by VOI on Wednesday, March 30 by e-mail.
Kaspersky will remain committed to providing industry-leading cybersecurity solutions to its customers in the UK and around the world.
In addition, Kaspersky also expresses its gratitude to the NCSC for their guidance regarding private users.
"We would like to thank the NCSC for its guidance regarding private users, and would like to assure our customers that they are safe and protected with Kaspersky, as independent tests have proven," they said.
