Prosecutor: Inspector General Napoleon Grabbed M's Hair And Covered His Face With Feces
JAKARTA - The public prosecutor charged Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte with the article of beating up for molesting Muhamad Kosman alias M. Kace alias M. Kece.
In his indictment, the prosecutor said Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte violated Article 170 paragraph (2) of the 1st Criminal Code, then its subsidiary charges, Article 170 paragraph (1), or Article 351 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code and Article 351 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
Prosecutor Faizal Putrawijaya explained that Inspector General Napoleon along with other detainees, namely Dedy Wahyudi, Djafar Hamzah, Himawan Prasetyo, and Harmeniko alias Choky alias Pak RT, abused M. Kace in the cell of the Police Criminal Investigation Department on August 26 2021 in the morning.
M. Kace, when he was just being held in the Criminal Investigation Unit, was visited by Napoleon on August 26, 2021 in the early hours of the morning to talk. However, Napoleon was offended by M. Kace's statement and he ordered other prisoners to take a plastic bag filled with feces into the cell room.
In the cell room, Napoleon smeared M. Kace's face with feces as he grabbed the victim's hair. The high-ranking police officer had shouted, "Close your eyes and your mouth," said the statement quoted by the prosecutor as quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 24.
Prosecutors said Napoleon's right hand was holding the feces and then he was hit hard on M. Kace's face so that the victim's head hit the wall.
Then, another prisoner continued to beat M. Kace's chest and thighs, and another hit the victim's shoulder with flip-flops.
Another detainee, Dedy Wahyudi, also slapped M. Kace on the cheek and put feces into M. Kace's mouth twice.
Not long after being abused by Napoleon and other detainees, M. Kace reported the incident to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police on August 26, 2021.
During the trial, which was presided over by Djuyamto, Napoleon had time to ask the prosecutor the reason the party had imposed the article on beating him.
According to Napoleon, the articles in the indictment were redundant.
