Mandalika MotoGP Racers And Crews Start Leaving Lombok
JAKARTA - Hundreds of crew and drivers for the Pertamina Grand Prix Of Indonesia at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) began to leave Lombok after the race was completed on March 20.
The IATC, Moto3, Moto2, and MotoGP riders fly using a Garuda Indonesia charter plane from Lombok International Airport to Jakarta Airport and then they return to their respective countries.
Quoted from Antara, a number of crew and racers started arriving at Lombok Airport by being escorted using a bus vehicle and then entering through the airport departure gate to process the boarding pass.
"The crew and drivers started leaving for Jakarta from last night and today," said Public Relations of PT Angkasa Pura I at Lombok International Airport, Arif Haryanto in Praya, Monday.
The crew and the Indonesian MotoGP racers at the Pertamina Mandalika Internasional Street Circuit returned home using 8 chartered planes and some took other commercial flights.

"There are 8 planes used for their return. Meanwhile, at the time of arrival they used 9 charter planes," he said.
In the Indonesian MotoGP racing event which was held at the Mandalika Circuit, the KTM M Olievera racer managed to become the first champion in the race that had been drenched in rain.
Furthermore, the second position was won by the 2021 MotoGP Champion from the Yamaha Quartararo Team. While the third position was achieved by Ducati Team rider Johan Zarko.
The handover of the trophy to the 2022 Indonesian MotoGP champion at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit was given directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
