Ahead Of Ramadan, DKI Civil Service Police Unit Prepares To Raid Alcohol And Supervise Immoral Practices

JAKARTA - Head of DKI Civil Service Police Unit, Arifin, said that his party was prepared to monitor public order and peace when entering the holy month of Ramadan 1443 H.

This he conveyed when he led the Call for Preparedness and Anticipation of Disturbance (Public Peace and Order) Tramtibum Ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 H at Silang Monas, Central Jakarta.

In addition to overseeing the implementation of the health protocols that have been carried out so far, Arifin said that his party will start monitoring and raiding the circulation of alcoholic beverages to monitor immoral practices during the month of Ramadan.

"Potential violations and disturbances to peace and public order, such as the circulation of alcoholic beverages, and immoral practices are also targets for surveillance and personnel action during the month of Ramadan", Arifin said on Monday, March 21.

Then, the focus of supervision needs to be the attention of personnel in the field during the month of Ramadan as well as the potential for the emergence of people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in every corner of the city and public streets.

"We carry out surveillance patrols in various places where PMKS is located. We educate, remind, then we do coaching with the Social Service", said Arifin.

Arifin also asked his staff to act decisively in monitoring public peace and order (Tramtibum) so that the situation remains safe and conducive during Ramadan. Even so, the way he acted did not show arrogance and arbitrariness.

"I ask to remind and educate all people so that Jakarta becomes an orderly, orderly and comfortable city during Ramadan so that all people can carry out worship comfortably and peacefully", he added.
