Cologne Vs Dortmund Ends Without A Winner: Marco Rose Keeps 6 Matches Unbeaten With Die Borussen
JAKARTA – Borussia Dortmund coach, Marco Rose, made quite a proud achievement when his team brought home one point from Cologne headquarters. Die Borussen, nicknamed Dortmund, drew 1-1 in the continued match of the German Bundesliga 2021/2022 at the RheinEnergie Stadium on Monday, March 21 in the morning of Indonesian Western Time (WIB).
The draw left Borussia Dortmund unbeaten in six consecutive Bundesliga matches. This is the first time since Marco Rose was raised.
In that match, Marius Wolf succeeded in bringing Dortmund ahead when the game had only been running for eight minutes. Cologne then managed to equalize in the 36th minute through Sebastian Andersson after Jannes Horn's free-kick was headed by Anthony Modeste into goal.
Rose said his team had many opportunities to bring home the three points from the match. However, he felt it was fair enough to share the points with the home team.

"In the second half, we controlled the game well and created the better chances. For me, overall, this is a fair draw," Rose said, quoted by Dortmund's website.
This one point makes Dortmund's journey into a title competition even more difficult. Currently Die Borussen is in second place with a collection of 57 points, while Bayern Munich occupies the top position with 63 points.
In the following week, Dortmund will act as host to host RB Leipzig on Saturday, April 2. Leipzig itself is currently still in the last four positions with 45 points from 27 matches.
