Not Giving Gamers A Pause, 'Elden Ring' Adds Many Missions To Complete
JAKARTA- Elden Ring is a very popular game recently all over the world. To complete the game completely can take more than 100 hours. However, for those who had exhausted every dungeon and boss, there were now even more challenges to complete.
In the latest patch, FromSoftware has added missions for certain non-player characters (NPCs): Diallos, Nepheli Loux, Kenneth Haight, and Gatekeeper Gostoc.
Keeping track of NPCs' locations will also be easier, thanks to a new map marker that lets you enter their names. So, if you want to remember where to find a particular merchant, you may not need to record their location in a notebook anymore.
According to Engadget, there's a new NPC named Jar Bairn as well, while the developer has added several NPCs that can be summoned in various situations, according to the patch notes.
Meanwhile, FromSoft reduces the amount of damage inflicted by Hoarfrost's Stomp Ash of War and increases the time it takes to cast.

Speedrunners relied on that skill to break through the Elden Ring in under 30 minutes, so they might need to come up with some new strategies. Unless they play offline and decide not to update the game.
To compensate for these changes and some other nerfs, many skills now have lower FP (Focus Points) consumption, so you can use them more often.
You will find it easier and more effective to find Smithing Stones and shields. The stats scale issue for some weapons should be smoothed out after some bug fixes. Publisher Bandai Namco said it would improve some performance as well.
