Two Days Not Coming Home A West Sumatran Resident Found Drifting In The River
PUNJUNG ISLAND - A resident of Jorong Banjar Makmur, Nagari Sungai Langkok, Tiumang District, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra Province, who was reported to have drifted in the Batanghari River was found dead on Thursday March 17 at 09.00 WIB.
According to the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of the Dharmasraya Regency, Eldison, the body of the victim named Suprehatin (39) was found in the Batanghari River in Tanjung Pucuk Jambi, District XII Koto, Tebo Regency, Jambi Province.
"The victim was found this morning, about 10 kilometers from the starting point, the victim is thought to have drifted away", he said on Punjung Island, quoted by Antara.
He said that the search for victims lasted for about 20 hours.

"The search for the first day was stopped yesterday. Thank God the search was successful. On the second day, the victim's body was found by residents already floating", he said.
Wali Nagari Sungai Langkok Narin Imam said that Suprehatin's body had been handed over to his family for burial.
Suprehatin, who has a mental disorder, has reportedly not been home since Tuesday, March 15.
While searching, the family found Suprehatin's motorbike and sandals on the banks of the Batanghari River. The family then reports to the Nagari government.
