Will Continue Attacking On Foreign Forces In Ukraine, Russia: We Know All The Locations Of The Paid Army
JAKARTA - Russian troops are aware of the location of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine, with attacks on the facility set to continue, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told media on Monday.
"We know all the locations of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. More attacks will continue to be carried out against them, such as those carried out on March 13 against the training center in Starichi and on the Yavorovsky test site," Major General Konashenkov said.
"Let me warn once again that mercenaries will see no mercy wherever they are on Ukrainian territory," he stressed.
He stressed that the regime in Kiev continues to use terror tactics and the most destructive weapons against civilians and civilian infrastructure.
"Some Western countries have encouraged their citizens at the government level to participate in combat operations, in a mercenary capacity against Russian forces in Ukraine," he said.
"All responsibility for the deaths of foreign nationals of this category in Ukraine will fall on the shoulders of the leaders of the respective countries," Konashenkov warned.
As previously reported, Russian missiles hit a large Ukrainian base near the border with NATO member Poland on Sunday, killing 35 people and wounding 134, a local official said, in an escalating war in the country's west as heavy fighting was reported elsewhere.
