The Woman Wants To Return Jokowi's Money From The Purchase Of Cooking Oil But It Is Rejected
JAKARTA - This is the remaining story from President Jokowi's visit to various markets in Yogyakarta to check the availability of cooking oil. Starting from the honesty of the mothers to the dirt stuck to Jokowi's hair.
Jokowi's Blusukan (unannounced inspections) on Sunday, March 13, started at 09.05 WIB from Pasar Kembang, Yogyakarta. The first shop that Jokowi went to was Alfamart.
When he arrived at a mini-market in Pasar Kembang, the President immediately walked to the cooking oil place. Sure enough, he finally saw firsthand there was no stock of cooking oil.
"Since when isn't there?", asked the President.
"Just this morning, sir", replied the minimarket guard.
The President also asked about the selling price of the cooking oil. "For two liters it is IDR 28,000, but for one liter it is IDR 14,000", said the minimarket guard.
"But when will stock again?", asked the President.
"I don't know, sir", said the shopkeeper.
In addition to visiting supermarkets, the President also directly checked the availability of cooking oil at traders in Beringharjo Market and Sentul Market, Yogyakarta. In both markets, the President found prices that varied, ranging from IDR 14,000 per liter to IDR 20,000 per liter.
However, the high price of cooking oil also does not guarantee the availability of stock. "The goods are there, but they are expensive", said the President, commenting on the high price of cooking oil. "There is but it's slow, sir, when it's finished it will take a long time", said the merchant.
Jokowi then bought two bottles of Hemart brand cooking oil. He then paid for the cooking oil with several IDR 100 thousand bills.
"Thank you Mr. Jokowi", said this man.

Then Jokowi moved to another place. A woman was wearing a white mask with blue batik. Jokowi seemed to have quite a serious conversation with the mother.
It seems Jokowi has discovered a new fact. Because in the moment of the conversation, Jokowi was shocked.
Here it is clear that there is a little dirt stuck to Jokowi's hair. The president didn't seem to realize it until one of Jokowi's aides told him about it.
Then, as usual, Jokowi bought another Hemart brand of cooking oil. There were several bottles purchased.
Then Jokowi again reached into the money from his black pants pocket on the right. The mother gave some of the IDR 100,000 bills.
And...
The Woman, who felt too much with Jokowi's gift, tried to return it. However, the president refused. She had tried to return it several times, but Jokowi always refused.
