Supporting IKN Development, Ridwan Kamil Brings Land And Water From 27 Regencies/Cities In West Java

JAKARTA - West Java has succeeded in collecting land and water from 27 regencies/cities to later become part of the development of the National Capital City (IKN).

"Alhamdulillah, in a short time 27 cities/regencies in West Java with fast movement and with very good enthusiasm have succeeded in sending water and land. Of course, they were chosen according to local wisdom", said West Java Governor, M Ridwan Kami,l in a statement quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 13.

Kang Emil will take this land and water to North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, and symbolically hand it over to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

Ridwan Kamil was invited to be the candidate for the new IKN location along with all other governors in Indonesia.

The governor appreciated the quick steps of the district/city figures who managed to collect land and water in a short time. Because the land and water that is brought is not arbitrary and contains history and is rich in meaning.

"There are various sources. Some are from the water of the Great Mosque, some are from mountain water. Some are from sacred water and so on", said the Governor.
