Viral Mothers Of Red And White Flag Scissors In Sumedang, 3 People Intensively Examined

JAKARTA - The National Police has made a police report about the vandalism case by cutting the red and white flag that went viral on social media. There are three people who have the status as reported parties.

Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said that the police report model A was registered as number IX / 2020 dated 15 September 2020.

"There are three reported for this case, first the initials PO, the initials AM, the three initials DYH," said Argo to reporters, Wednesday, September 16.

The three reported parties are being examined. Evidence related to the viralness of the mothers cutting the Red and White Flag has been secured.

"The evidence that was secured was a black pair of scissors, a red and white flag and a cellphone," he said.

The three reported were accused by Article 66 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2009 in conjunction with Article 24 letter a of Law Number 24 of 2009 concerning Flag, Language and State Symbol.

Videos of mothers cutting the Red and White Flag went viral on social media. For whatever reason, this flag scissors action was recorded and then the video was spread.

In the video, a mother is seen cutting the Red and White Flag which was recorded by a woman.

"Huuu ... it's broken," said the woman who was a video recorder.

The recorder also takes pictures around the house. There was a toddler near the mother who was cutting the Red and White Flag.

"It's not the season anymore," said the flag cutter.

After the Red and White flag was divided into several pieces, the mother scattered it. He then spoke about throwing the flag pieces into the trash.
