Stabilize Cooking Oil Prices Police Hold Market Operations In Sukabumi
SUKABUMI - Sukabumi Police held a low-cost market operation (OP) to stabilize the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako), especially cooking oil whose prices are currently soaring due to scarcity.
"This cheap market operation is to help residents who have difficulty getting cooking oil, especially the lower middle class," said Sukabumi Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Dedy Darmawansyah in Sukabumi, Thursday, February 24.
Dedy explained that this low-cost market operation aims to stabilize the price of cooking oil or match the highest retail price (HET). In addition, it is also to make it easier for residents to get one of these commodities.
Not only cooking oil, in this low-cost market operation, his party also provides premium rice for IDR 55 thousand per 5 kilograms and premium packaged sugar at IDR 9.000,00/kg.
Every citizen who wants to buy cooking oil, his party limits it to only 2 liters per person so that there is no wholesale action. In this OP, his party provides 9,823 liters of cooking oil.

According to him, the public is enthusiastic about this low-cost market operation. The problem is, to get cooking oil, based on the recognition of a number of residents, you have to stand in line and don't necessarily get it.
In this activity, his party collaborated with a number of basic food distributors and agents, such as the Yogya Palabuhanratu Toserba, PT Jessindo Prakasa, PT Bukit Makmur Abadi, CV Kota Baru, PT Panjunan, PT Wing Food, PT Honest Sentosa, and Febri.
In an effort to prevent crowds during the OP, his party instructed his personnel to organize the residents who attended and were required to apply health protocols such as wearing masks.
For residents who do not bring masks, his party has provided them.
