AGO Cekall 3 Witnesses Related To Alleged Corruption Of The Ministry Of Defense Satellite
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has prevented three witnesses from traveling outside Indonesian territory for six months, related to allegations of corruption in satellite procurement at the Ministry of Defense.
The three witnesses who were prevented from going abroad were the President Director of PT Dini Nusa Kusuma (DNK) with the initials AW, the technology consultant, and former President Director of PT DNK with the initials SCW, and the citizens of the United States with the initials TAVDH.
The Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, said the decision was issued by the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence on behalf of the Attorney General on January 18, 2022.
"The decision has been issued since February 18, 2022, for six months", Leonard said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, February 22.
According to him, the ban was carried out to facilitate the investigation process in the context of the examination, to obtain information related to the alleged corruption case in the procurement project for the Ministry of Defense's 123° East Longitude (BT) Orbit Satellite for 2012-2021.
"If one day a summons is made, the three will remain in Indonesia", he added.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes has submitted the results of the case investigation to the Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes on Monday, February 21.
According to Leonard, the submission of the results of the investigation was carried out for the sake of connection with the investigators of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Military Police Center because it was suspected that there was involvement from elements of the TNI.

This is according to the order of the Attorney General, Monday, February 14, a case has been carried out by Jampidsus investigators and resulted in two elements of corruption which are suspected to involve elements of the TNI (Army) and civilians.
"So that the participants in the case title agreed to propose that the handling of this case be handled in a connected manner", he said.
In this case, the Jampidsus of the Attorney General's Office has examined several witnesses, including former Minister of Communication and Information, Rudiantara, Friday, February 11.
Furthermore, three retired TNI soldiers were also examined as witnesses, namely the former Director-General of Defense Forces Ministry of Defense Vice Admiral TNI (Ret) initials AP, former head of Defense Facilities Agency Ministry of Defense RI Rear Admiral TNI (Ret) initials L, and the former head of the Procurement Center for the Defense Facilities Agency of the Ministry of Defense, First Admiral TNI (Ret) initials L.
In addition, several civilian witnesses were examined, namely high-ranking officials at PT DNK, PT LEN, and the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo).
The Jampdisus of the Attorney General's Office has also searched three locations, namely two offices of PT DNK and one apartment of the President Director of PT DNK or a team of experts from the Ministry of Defense with the initials SW. After the search was carried out on Tuesday, January 18, the AGO confiscated some evidence related to the procurement of the satellite orbit.
