Jakpro Leaks Formula E Ticket Prices, Starting From Hundreds Of Thousands Of Rupiah
JAKARTA - Vice Managing Director of Formula E at PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Gunung Kartiko revealed the price range for Formula E spectator tickets that will be sold.
Gunung said tickets to watch the electric car race were opened from hundreds of thousands to millions of rupiah. However, Gunung did not explain in detail the nominal tariff.
"It's affordable, (the lowest Formula E ticket price) is hundreds of thousands. (The highest) is up to millions," said Gunung when met at the DKI Regional Representative Council (DPRD) building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, February 16.
Gunung revealed that the tickets for sale also have various types of prices. Gunung refers to the types of ticket prices, which are similar to the MotoGP international racing event in Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
As is known, the cheapest MotoGP ticket prices are sold at festivals and Grand Stands with prices ranging from IDR 115 thousand to IDR 805 thousand.
Then, Grandstand Premium and Regular Grandstand tickets based on zones are priced from IDR 1.06 million to IDR 2.3 million. For the VIP Hospitality Suites Deluxe Class category, there are 3 days pass tickets that are sold at a price of IDR 10 million
"Actually, it's the same as in Mandalika, in Mandalika, the prices are the cheapest, there are festivals, yes, there are Grandstands. In Mandalika, my friends know, right, there are IDR 10 million, there are IDR 15 million, right? There is indeed a special segment, yes, there are indeed fans," said Gunung.

For information, ticket prices for watching Formula E in various countries do vary. When converted into rupiah, Formula E-tickets in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia start from around IDR 575 thousand to IDR 77 million. Meanwhile, ticket prices in Berlin start from IDR 325 thousand to IDR 2.9 million. Then, in Rome, Italy, Formula E-tickets are around IDR 634 thousand.
