Crazy! This Programmer Successfully Played The Doom Game On The Pregnancy Test Kit

JAKARTA - Playing games requires a console or smartphone. But who would have thought that this one player could play the FPS Doom game with a pregnancy test.

Launching from PC Gamer, Foone Turing, a programmer from California managed to play the classic First Person Shooter (FPS) Doom through a small monitor on a pregnancy test.

Through his personal Twitter account, Turing shows how the screen of the pregnancy test, which has a resolution of 128 × 32 pixels, plays the game Doom. Of course the resulting image is colorless, using a monochrome 1bpp.

Yesterday I had a lot of retweets and reddit posts and such for playing Doom on a pregnancy test. But as I explained then, it wasn't really PLAYING on a pregnancy test, it was just a video being played back, not an interactive game .Well, now it is. "The monochrome screen is too small and not comparable to the background bits and walls in games that require a lot of pixels. It's far from perfect, but it's really impressive," said Turing.

In fact, Turing could not play the Doom game like most interactive FPS games. This is due to the limited bits and screen panel resolution required.

But this is a testament to how far modern technology has progressed, games that used to require PC hardware or screens. Now it can be run on even unusual devices.

Not only with a pregnancy test kit, Turing also plans to try to modify other unusual devices, such as calculators and digital clocks.
