Police Arrest Two Motorcycle Thieves At Ramayana Parking Lot Serang City

SERANG CITY – Two people were arrested by Serang City Police officers on suspicion of motor vehicle theft. The suspects, AA (40) and FP (18) were arrested at the red light in Maja Pandeglang, since Monday, February 14, at around 19.40 western Indonesia time.

Serang City Police Chief, Commissioner Adjutant Edi Susanto explained that the theft of AA and FP was carried out at the Ramayana 4th Floor parking lot, Serang District, Serang City.

"Monday (14 February) at around 00.10 western Indonesia time at the Ramayana Floor 4 parking lot, there has been a criminal act of theft with a weight in the form of a Honda CRF motorbike, black color, police number A 2795 EP and one green NHK brand helmet, which was carried out by the perpetrator by breaking the ignition," explained Serang City Police Chief, Edi Susanto, through a release received, Tuesday, February 15.

"After receiving the report, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Serang City Police moved quickly. As a result, in less than 1 x 24 hours the perpetrator was arrested at 19.40 western Indonesia time, in two different places, namely at a red light at the Maja intersection and in a rented house. Then the perpetrator was brought to the Serang City Police for further examination," added Edy.

AA and FP are still undergoing investigations. Meanwhile, officers have secured all the evidence.

"From the results of the examination, investigators have secured evidence in the form of two units of Honda CRF motorcycles, black with police number A 2795 EP, and Honda Genio, red and black with police number A 5866 JQ, one iron scissors, and one spanner," said Eddy.
