COVID-19 Update As Of February 7th: New Cases 26,361, Active Cases 206.361
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 2,85789 specimens were examined with the results of 26,121 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 4,542,601 people and active cases rose by 17,462 to 206,361 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Monday, February 7.
Today's recovered cases increased by 8,577 cases, bringing the total to 4,191,606 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 82 people and a total of 144,636 people.
The province with the highest new cases was DKI Jakarta with 12,682 cases and a total of 993,652 cases. Followed by West Java with 5,047 new cases with a total of 770,546 cases. Banten has 3,196 new cases and a total of 172,431 cases. Then, East Java with 1,339 new cases and a total of 412,988 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 4,581 recovered cases. Followed by East Java with an increase of 1,310 recovered cases, Banten with an additional 1,263 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 620 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 74,825,668.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 10,234 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 186,703,390 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 131,119,425 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 5,548,431. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
