Two Penalties Threaten 'Ecstasy' Drivers Who Hit Bicycles

JAKARTA - The case of traffic accidents and narcotics abuse that ensnared Toto Prasetio, is currently still being investigated by the police. The latest development is that the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the South Jakarta Police consume prohibited items because they are influenced by social interactions.

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Bastoni Purnama said that from the results of the interim examination, Toto admitted that he had consumed ecstasy recently or this week. However, it is not clear where the forbidden item was obtained.

"He (Toto) used (consumed drugs) because of hanging out with his friends," said Bastoni in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 31.

With this evidence, there are two models of sanctions that will ensnare him. Toto will be charged with criminal sanctions in accordance with his mistakes. As well, subject to disciplinary sanctions.

He was given disciplinary sanctions, because Toto was an ASN within the Police. So, the evaluation will be carried out by the internal Police. However, it is awaiting the results of the criminal sanctions decision first.

So, for now, Toto is first deactivated while awaiting travel criminal proceedings. "It is temporarily disabled first. During this process," said Bastoni.
