Benny Harman Demokat Asks KPK Not To Hide Corruption Cases, Firli Bahuri: Everything Is Transparent!

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri emphasized that there were no corruption cases that were covered up. All investigations into alleged homicides are ensured to be carried out in a transparent manner.

This was conveyed by Firli in response to the statement by member of Commission III of the DPR RI, Benny K Harman, at a working meeting held today or Wednesday, January 26.

"I don't think there are any hidden cases because everything is transparent," Firli told reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday.

In addition, the former Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK emphasized that all corruption cases he investigated were registered in a system called Synergy. This system allows all parties to access how the investigation into alleged corruption is being carried out by the KPK.

"Everyone can see who reported it, how it was handled, and at what stage the cases were at the KPK. So there is nothing to hide," he stressed.

During the meeting, Benny asked the KPK not to hide corruption cases. He asked the KPK to transparently disclose the case in its entirety so that it could be resolved immediately.

However, Benny did not specify what cases he was referring to. Because, this kind of thing has been proposed in previous working meetings.

"Are there cases that have not been resolved, here I see, there is this case but there is a case. Don't hide it, there are also cases that are hidden, just open them up," said Benny during the working meeting.
