Pulled Off The Field In The Brentford Match, Ronaldo Gets Upset, Slams His Jacket On The Bench

JAKARTA - An interesting moment occurred in the Manchester United versus Brentford match, Thursday, January 20 in the morning of Indonesian Western Time (WIB). In that match, Cristiano Ronaldo was caught on camera sulking when he was pulled off midway through the second half.

Ronaldo had missed the last few games for Manchester United, but in the match against Brentford, he had the opportunity to appear from the early minutes. However, Ronaldo experienced an unpleasant moment in the 71st minute when he was pulled off the field when United was 2-0 up.

Quoted from Sky Sport, Ronaldo looked annoyed and did not greet coach Ralf Rangnick on the sidelines. Instead, he walked over to the bench grumbling after being replaced by Harry Maguire.

Arriving at the bench, Ronaldo immediately slammed his jacket, although soon he took it back to cover his body.

Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek, who were sitting not far from Ronaldo, watched his teammate who was annoyed, but then both chose silence.

It didn't stop there, Ronaldo was also seen protesting to the assistant coach sitting beside him. However, Ronaldo's annoyance slightly subsided after Manchester United took a 3-0 lead thanks to Marcus Rashford's goal.

Rangnick immediately Ronaldo on the bench. The German coach seemed to explain his reasons for pulling out Ronaldo and choosing to enter Maguire, who incidentally was a defender.
