South Jakarta Police Narcotics Prisoner Dies While Undergoing Treatment at the Police Hospital
JAKARTA - One of the drug prisoners at the South Jakarta Metro Police with the initials FNS died after undergoing treatment at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Thursday, January 13.
Before he died, the victim had told his colleague, Fikri alias B, regarding the conditions in the detention house.
"So on January 10, he was admitted to the hospital," said Fikri, quoting Antara, Saturday, January 15.
Furthermore, the victim underwent treatment at the Police hospital on Monday, because he complained of pain in his body.
"On January 12, 2022, he was admitted to the hospital again. He felt mentally down. He couldn't even walk, so we went there the next day. Then last night he passed (died) at 20.00 western Indonesia time," he said.
Before he died, B who visited the victim at 16.00 western Indonesia time stated that at that time the victim's condition had deteriorated.

"Infusions are not handled specifically. We also sleep together at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital. We will go home, after the visit, investigators will call at 10 o'clock if Fredi dies," he said.
Meanwhile, another fellow victim, Singgih Tomi Gumilang, revealed that FNS had a history of heart disease and had three rings installed.
"There are already 3 rings, the heart ring. People who have a ring with their heart will definitely have heart failure," he said.
On the other hand, Singgih said that the victim was a suspect in the abuse of 800 grams of marijuana.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Budhi Herdi Susianto confirmed that one of the drug prisoners had died due to illness.
"It is true that there is a drug Satres detainee who died at the Police Hospital due to illness," said Budhi.
He said the victim died due to fever and no appetite.
