Rano Karno Becomes Annoying Parents in the Movie Ada Mertua di Rumahku

JAKARTA - The film Ada Mertua di Rumahku will be broadcasted on KlikFilm starting January 14th. This film is played by the artist couple Roger Danuarta, Cut Meyriska, and Rano Karno.

Rano Karno, who plays Bambang, an annoying mother-in-law, admits that he doesn't find it difficult. "There's no difficulty. Because I know that Bambang is from Surabaya. So it's easier to explore his character," said the actor of Si Doel in a virtual press conference, Saturday, January 14.

For the role of Bambang, Rano appears as he is. "I happened to be fat while filming, just let it go. Adding a hat already looks annoying," he said.

Roger Danuarta admitted that he had the same experience as what happened to Irfan in this film. "When I first got married, I lived at Cut's house. So I experienced stiffness when adapting to my in-laws. So that experience could be a reference for acting in this film," he said.

Meanwhile, Cut Meyriska, who plays the character Nirmala, admitted that there was much that could be learned from the film Ada Mertua di Rumahku. "The lesson that can be drawn from this film is, don't see things only from our own eyes. It must be seen as a whole," she said.
