Zumi Zola's Mother in Pilkada Jambi, PDIP Confirms her Eligibility
JAKARTA - PDI Perjuangan announced a candidate for the fourth wave of regional heads. There are dozens of names. One of them is the candidate for governor of Jambi, Cek Endra, and his deputy, Ratu Munawaroh.
Ratu Munawaroh was the wife of the former Jambi Governor for two periods, Zulkifli Nurdin, who had passed away. She is also the stepmother of former Jambi Governor, Zumi Zola. Zumi Zola was caught in a bribery and gratuity case by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). He's currently serving his sentence.
Secretary-General of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, Hasto Kristiyanto, emphasized that the proposed candidates had proven their worthiness and were far from corrupt. During the party school, PDIP invited the KPK to deliver material on anti-corruption prevention.
"We invite the KPK to deliver an anti-corruption material. So, the tendency for abuse of power cannot occur," said Hasto in an online conference on Friday, August 28.

About the dynastic politics and corrupt behavior, Hasto emphasized, "We never tolerate those kinds of acts."
"So we are very serious about taking various approaches that can be scientifically justified. Through party schools, through psychological tests, so that abuse does not occur," he added.
Previously, PDIP announced four pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor. As well as 58 pairs of candidates for the regional head at the regency/city level. Through the announcement of the fourth batch.
