KPK Still Investigating Alleged DID Corruption Of Tabanan Bali
DENPASAR - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the alleged corruption of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) of Tabanan Regency, Bali, which allegedly involved former Tabanan Regent Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti.
"Currently, the investigation is still ongoing, we will continue to confirm the sources, if necessary, find other witness statements," said KPK Deputy Chairman Nawawi Pomolango after visiting the Bali High Prosecutor's Office, reported by Antara, Thursday, January 13.
Until now, it is not certain whether the former Tabanan Regent, Ni Putu Eka Wiryastuti, was involved.
"Everything has to go through an exposure process, later from the investigative team, the investigator in front of us. As to what we can't even assume," he said.
Meanwhile, related to the information regarding the circulation of an investigative order (sprindik) that dragged the name of the former Tabanan regent, Nawawi emphasized that currently there has been no issuance of a sprindik from the KPK.
"For that information, we ensure that we have not issued (sprindik). But the work of investigators, investigators will still have to be presented before us. We have not determined what the status is," he said.

Previously, KPK investigators had searched the Tabanan Regency PUPR Office, Tabanan Regency Bapelitbang Office, Tabanan Regency Regional Finance Agency Office, Tabanan Regency DPRD Office and the residences of parties related to the case.
This case also involves the former Head of the Section for the Development of Funding for Housing and Settlement Areas, the Directorate for Evaluation of Regional Financial Management and Information, the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, the Ministry of Finance, Yaya Purnomo, who has been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison, plus a fine of Rp200 million, subsidiary of 1 month and 15 days in prison, in February 2019.
This was because it was proven that he had received bribes and gratuities in the administration of the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and DID in nine districts. One of them is the DID APBN for the 2018 Fiscal Year for Tabanan Regency.
