7 Suspects Of Beater Causing Victim To Die In Tanjungbalai Arrested, The Motive Is Hurt Because The Victim Abused Family Members
MEDAN - Police arrested seven suspects in the case of a beating that killed a man with the initials M (30), a resident of Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra.
Tanjungbalai Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant Triyadi said the identities of the seven suspects were BC (26), APM (36), AA (34), JDS (27), WM (26), TM (55), and RPN (17).
"The seven suspects were arrested at different locations," he said, as quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 13.
Triyadi said that the case of the beating that resulted in death occurred on Saturday, January 8 at around 01.00 western Indonesia time, in Datuk Bandar District, Tanjungbalai City.

He said the abuse case was motivated by pain because the female family members of the suspects were allegedly molested by the victim.
"The motive is hurt related to the alleged molestation case," he said.
After the beating, the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. However, not long after, the victim died.
"The suspects are charged with Article 170 Paragraph (2) to 3e in conjunction with Article 351 Paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code," he said.
