Commission I Of DPR From The Golkar Faction Assumes The Danrem Who Visited Habib Bahar Smith Islamic Boarding School Did Not Break The Rules
JAKARTA - Member of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Dave Laksono, believes that there was no rule that the Danrem Suryakancana, Brigadier General Achmad Fauzi, hit when he visited the Habib Bahar bin Smith Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes). Where the action was considered to have exceeded the authority and duties of the TNI after the video went viral on social media.
"He only came to remind them not to be provoked," Dave told reporters, Monday, January 3.
According to Dave, it does not appear that Achmad Fauzi is trying to intimidate Habib Bahar. Because, if the TNI wants to intimidate, there is no need for a Danrem class to come and the method will be harsh. In fact, said Dave, it was the response to the friendship that seemed unfriendly.
"It was a friendly relationship in a polite way. But it was answered in a harsh and unfriendly way," he said.

The Golkar politician assessed that Brigadier General Achmad Fauzi was only carrying out his duties. "I don't see that it's a shameful thing. He carries out his main duties properly and correctly," he said.
To note, the video of the debate between Habib Bahar bin Smith and the 061/Suryakencana Korem Commander (Danrem) Brigadier General Achmad Fauzi went viral on social media. The debate occurred when Achmad Fauzi visited the Habib Bahar Islamic Boarding School in Bogor.
It is known, Kapenrem 061 Surya Kencana, Major Inf Ermansyah spoke about the viral video of Danrem 061 Surya Kencana Brigadier General Achmad Fauzi who visited the Pondok Pesantren owned by Habib Bahar bin Smith. Major Inf Ermansyah confirmed that the Danrem went to Habib Bahar's residence in a good manner.
"The presence of the Danrem to Bahar bin Smith's residence was carried out in a good manner. It was not TNI personnel who came as viral. Because they were wearing full TNI uniforms," said Major Inf Ermansyah.
Major Inf Ermansyah said that at the time of the incident, Danrem did not come alone. Due to the presence of the Danrem at the Tajul Alawiyyin Islamic Boarding School, he was also accompanied by members of the local Koramil.
"At the time of arrival the Danrem was also accompanied by members of the local Koramil," he added.
Major Inf Ermansyah also explained that the presence of the Danrem aims to invite and encourage each other to create peace and security together. And there is absolutely no purpose to scare the public as viral.
