SURABAYA - The Surabaya City Government guarantees free health services for a girl with brain palsy with the initials ISM, 13 years old, a resident of Putat Jaya Barat, Surabaya City, East Java.
"I invite all village heads to sub-district heads to understand the problems that exist in their areas. For this incident, we will seek wheelchairs and food assistance," said Deputy Mayor of Surabaya Armuji when visiting a child with cerebral palsy at his residence in Surabaya, quoted by Antara, Thursday, 23 December.
He explained that the daughter of Agus Triyono and Ni'matus Sholihah had a brain disorder since the age of six.
Armaji ensured that the family had been registered in the Low-Income Community (MBR) database, recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Universal Health Insurance Participants.
Even though the social assistance program has been intervened, continued Armuji, assistance is still needed from the Surabaya Population Control, Women Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DP5A) so that families are motivated to live life.
