How To Make Certain People's Instagram Posts Not Appear On Your Feed
YOGYAKARTA - Instagram is a platform that allows all users to express everything they want through posting photos and videos on their respective accounts.
However, for some people the uploads posted by certain accounts can be annoying, making you uncomfortable to see your Instagram main page.
If you don't know the account, users can easily unfollow them so that annoying posts from that particular account will no longer appear on your Instagram feed.
However, it is different if the account is someone you know. Users certainly feel bad for unfollowing the account or unfollowing your friend.
If users have problems like the ones above, you don't need to worry because there is a special way you can do to make an upload from a certain account not appear on your Instagram feed.
Users can use the Mute or Hide feature, which is in your Instagram app to do so. If you are still confused, below the VOI team will explain how to Mute certain account uploads on Instagram.
How to Mute Other Instagram Posts
To mute specific Instagram posts from your homepage, you can search for Instagram Stories of the account you want to hide posts from.
Apart from that, you can also visit the profile of the account and open the Timeline Stories they created. After that, click the three-dot icon to the right of the post, so a number of menus will appear that you can choose from.
To mute posts, users can select the Mute menu, or Mute Stories, to make the Stories they create don't appear on your feed.
In addition, you can also hide the upload of the account by selecting the menu Mute Posts (Feeds) and Stories, to hide both.
This way, Instagram posts from accounts you've muted won't appear on your homepage. If you choose to hide Stories, only the Stories are hidden.
However, if you select hide Posts and Stories, Feed posts and Stories uploaded by that account will not appear on your Instagram home page.
That was the way that you can use to hide Instagram posts or stories from certain accounts, so they don't appear on your homepage. Users can hide uploads from accounts that are considered disturbing without having to unfollow those accounts.
