Today, Pademangan Wisma Atlet And Pasar Rumput Quarantine Bed Remain 15 Percent

JAKARTA - The quarantine beds for Indonesian citizens (WNI) who have just traveled from abroad at the RSDC Wisma Atlet Pademangan were filled today with 4,944 people out of 5,796 provided.

This means that currently, there is 15 percent of the empty quarantine beds at Wisma Atlet Pademangan in towers 8, 9, and 10.

"Today there are 4,944 inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Hospital. Yesterday, there were 5,004 patients and today there are 60 fewer," said the Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in his statement, Monday, December 20.

Then, quarantine beds at the Pasar Rumput Flats RSDC today were filled with 4,681 people out of a total of 5,454 beds provided.

Thus, the availability of quarantine beds in Pasar Rumput Flats is 15 percent spread over towers 1, 2, and 3.

"Today there are 4,861 inpatients at the RSDC Rusun Pasar Rumput. Yesterday, there were 4,658 patients and today there are 23 more," said Aris.

Then, as many as 6,575 foreign travelers, both foreigners and Indonesian citizens, carried out quarantine at their own expense. This quarantine is spread across 44 hotels that have been designated by the government as quarantine locations.

As is known, the government requires foreign travelers to quarantine upon arrival in the country. This is stated in Circular Letter Number 25 of 2021 concerning International Travel Health Protocols during the COVID-19 Pandemic which regulates quarantine obligations for Indonesian citizens and foreigners from abroad.

This provision replaces SE Number 23 of 2021 which requires every international traveler to perform an RT-PCR test upon arrival, a 10 x 24-hour quarantine, and a second RT-PCR retest on the ninth day of quarantine.

The determination of quarantine locations in the Jakarta area is divided into two schemes. First, Indonesian citizens who are PMI, students who have completed their studies abroad, ASN who travel on assignments are carried out at Wisma Pademangan, Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Rusun Pasar Rumput, and Rusun Nagrak.

Second, quarantine of travelers can also be carried out in more than 105 hotels that have obtained CHSE status and based on the recommendations of the COVID-19 Task Force using personal costs.

There is a dispensation for state officials equivalent to echelon I and above to be allowed to self-quarantine at their respective residences after official trips from abroad.

The task force also provides exemptions from quarantine obligations that only apply to foreigners with the criteria for diplomatic and service visa holders, foreign officials and entourages making state visits, delegates from G-20 member countries, the TCA scheme.
